All Moodies Cruise guests are required to read and agree to the following Zero Tolerance Policy, as part of the Terms & Conditions (Passenger Ticket Contract) of their cruise:
Guest Behavior
On the Blue (“OTB”) and Celebrity Cruises (“Celebrity”) have adopted a Zero Tolerance Policy and will not permit behavior by any Moody Blues Cruise Passenger (“Passengers”) which negatively impacts the comfort, enjoyment, health, safety or well being of other Passengers, its’ performers and staff or the ship’s crew. In addition, violent, abusive or disrespectful behavior caused by the use of alcohol and/or an illegal substance shall not be tolerated. Passengers agree to comply with this policy, and further acknowledge that OTB and Celebrity reserve the right to refuse or discontinue passage to any Passenger who, in OTB or Celebrity’s sole judgment, is conducting himself or herself in a manner that adversely affects the cruise experience of other Passengers. This also includes spousal abuse or violence directed at a family member. In all cases, OTB and Celebrity shall not be liable for any damages, refund or other compensation, including travel costs or any other claim as a result of such behavior.
Illegal Substances
OTB and Celebrity have a “Zero Tolerance” policy regarding the use, possession or distribution of any and all illegal controlled substances by Passengers aboard the ship. Passengers agree to comply with this policy, and further acknowledge that any violation of this policy will result in disembarkation from the vessel, and Passengers acknowledges that it is OTB and Celebrity’s policy to report incidents of illegal activity or behavior to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for appropriate legal action. In such cases, OTB and Celebrity shall not be liable for any damages, refund or other compensation, including travel costs or any other claim as a result of such behavior.
Smoking
For your comfort and enjoyment, our ships are designated as non-smoking; however, we recognize that some of our guests smoke. Therefore, cigarette, cigar and pipe smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas of the ship. Smoking is not permitted in any dining venue, casino, theater, lounge, hallway, elevator, or corridor. This policy includes smoking-like products such as electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted inside any stateroom, nor on any stateroom veranda. If you are in violation of this policy, a cleaning fee of $250 USD will be applied to your SeaPass® account and you may be subject to further action pursuant to the “Consequences Section” of the Guest Conduct Policy. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco onboard.
- Additionally, there is a non-smoking policy on all components of the land tour portion of all Celebrity Cruises Cruisetour products. We appreciate your understanding and adherence.
Intentional Damage To The Vessel
OTB and Celebrity have a “Zero Tolerance” policy regarding intentional damage to the vessel or accidental damage to the vessel as a result of general negligence, alcohol intoxication or the influence of an illegal substance. Passengers causing any such damage agree to pay for identified damage prior to disembarking the vessel. All passengers must agree to comply with this policy, and further acknowledge that any violation of this policy may result in disembarkation from the vessel, and all passengers acknowledge that it is OTB and Celebrity’s policy to report incidents of illegal activity or behavior to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for appropriate legal action. In such cases OTB and Celebrity shall not be liable for any damages, refund or other compensation, including travel costs or any other claim as a result of such behavior.
All OTB Passengers agree to sign and acknowledge this Zero tolerance policy prior to receiving their OTB event credentials. Failure to sign shall result in immediate disembarkation from vessel.
